AMD Added To Material Specialists Library

Material Connexion library

Advanced Material Development is proud to announce the selection and addition of its graphene-based conductive inks to the Material Library at Material ConneXion, a leading material insights company.

Produced under AMD’s nHance™ brand, these low cost, highly conductive, non-metallic inks can be printed onto a wide variety of substrates for smart, connected solutions without impacting their recyclability. The water-based formulations of these graphene-based inks are thin, ultra-lightweight, have the ability to be sprayed, printed or painted whilst retaining high conductivity. They offer mechanical stretching and flexing capabilities, and as a result can be used as Green RFID antennas (delivering significant read distances), printed flexible electronics and EMI/RF shielding across broadband frequencies.

“Being accepted into the prestigious Material ConneXion material library, alongside other cutting-edge technologies, is true testament to AMD’s ongoing material development. AMD collaborates and exploits its material technologies with commercial partners and believes that the Material ConneXion platform can help facilitate these partnerships” says AMD CEO John Lee.

Dr. Gayatri Keskar, VP of Research for Material ConneXion says: “It’s encouraging to see how sustainability is no longer an afterthought and new material developments like nHance™ are providing functional, economical, and environmental benefits to design smart, flexible, and high-quality solutions for commercial production needs”

Widely regarded as an authority on materials, and as the leading global platform for material solutions and innovations, the Material ConneXion team includes Ph.D. material scientists and material specialists with cross-industry work experience at Fortune 500s and national laboratories. Material ConneXion is made up of an international team of multidisciplinary experts that bridge the gap between science and design to create practical manufacturing solutions.
