We manage our supply chain to ensure our customers and suppliers are performing in line with our own ESG expectations.

We fund research and develop products that have a positive impact on the environment. We are committed to reducing our own environmental impact and to continually improving our environmental performance. We encourage our supply chain and partners to do the same.

Environmental product strategy

We fund research and develop products that have a positive or neutral impact on the environment.  We continually assess the environmental impact of our R&D throughout the development cycle and where we see risk of environmental impact, we act to minimise and offset these.

Energy efficiency

We strive to maintain energy efficiency in our operations. We occupy premises with high energy efficiency ratings and embrace technology to support remote home working up to 25% of the working week.

Waste management

We seek minimise waste and maximise recyclability in our operations. We promote and enable a paperless office and ensure that any waste we generate is recycled wherever possible.

Carbon emissions

We are a low carbon company. We seek to minimise the impact of emissions, including in our business travel. We place emphasis on intelligent travel planning and promote the use of electric or hybrid cars.

Community development

Executive compensation is made up of both financial and non-financial benefits. Executive pay is set and reviewed by a remuneration committee which is independent of the board.

We aspire to have a broad mix of gender, age, race, ethnicity and skills across our Board and Advisory Panel. We ensure that our board includes non-executive directors to promote independence and good governance.
